You want your workspaces and facilities to be clean. But who defines what “clean” is for your organisation? I ask because how you define “clean” may not be the same as someone else. You might be held to rigorous compliance standards that others are not, based on your industry, or you simply may be interested in providing a safe and sanitary environment for your employees.

You might think it’s a safe assumption that commercial cleaning companies you come across know how to clean. That is, in fact, their job, right? If they didn’t know how to clean, why on earth would they open up a commercial cleaning business in the first place? Wouldn’t their doors be shuttered in less than a month?

I’ve been in this business for more than 30 years, and one thing has not changed. Commercial cleaning companies do not make it easy to understand how their services are priced and why, and that makes your job more difficult than it should be.
